About Colin

Growing up in Mimico I never knew what I really wanted to do. I had a list of things that I found interesting, but nothing I was in love with. When I moved out of the 416 and into the 905 I made the decision to become a Plumber. In a twist of fate the program I was applying to was no longer being offered by the school. I was suddenly confronted with ‘what do I really want to do with the rest of my life’. I scoured many Ontario Colleges and University programs and with only 5 hours left before application deadline I chose the Broadcast Journalism program at Sheridan College. It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. During my second year of school I applied to the Internship program here at 680News and on my graduation day in 2012 I received a phone call saying I was hired. It’s been a strange road, but I’m very happy to be here. I love the 680 News team and I’m so glad they gave me the opportunity to work amongst them. Aside from working at Canada’s number one listened to station I spend my time watching TV and playing a lot of video games. I’m a huge Leafs, Blue Jays and Raptors fan. You can follow me on Twitter @Colin680News where I’ll be most likely tweeting about food.
