About Kyle

I began working as a traffic reporter in Toronto in 2014 and take great pride in my craft. As a Toronto-native, I know all too well the headaches that traffic in the city can bring and always strive to get you to your destination as quickly as possible. After all, I've spent plenty of time stuck in traffic on Toronto highways myself! I know how frustrating it can be! After finishing an undergraduate degree in Political Science at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, I moved to the west coast to attend the British Columbia Institute of Technology and received my degree in Broadcast Journalism. I spent a little more than three years as an airborne traffic reporter before making the switch to 680 News to help guide drivers home as a part of the GTA's most trusted source for traffic information! I'm lucky that I still get to fly in Chopper 680 every now and then as well. Nothing gives you more of an appreciation for gridlock in the city than seeing rush hour from the skies overhead. When not on air helping to get Torontonians home, I spend as much time as possible with family and friends, and my Siberian Husky, Lobo. He's a handful, but he keeps me active! Kyle can be heard on air each weekday afternoon & evening from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
